OMHS Volleyball follows the Privacy Policy of the Anne Arundel County Public Schools

Fundraisers

 

We will be doing several fundraisers this year. The idea of the fundraisers is to make additional $ for the program over and above the fee for the girls. We are given a very small budget from the school, and need to try to raise as much as we can to cover the program costs for equipment, etc.

 

 

Glory Days

Glory Days restaurant was kind enough to donate $250.00 to the program this year.

Additionally they have agreed to let us ‘Dine for $’. We can turn in Glory Days receipts and get 10% of the total back in another donation to the team. So if you or anyone you know dines at Glory Days Grill  save your Guest Check (not your credit card receipt), and submit them to Coach Dean. This is an ongoing event which means rather than everyone being required to go one a particular evening, you can go anytime over the next 2 months and combine all of our receipts.

 

 

Cheesecakes

The Cheesecake Fundraiser has begun. If you have not received an order form please ask your daughter to get one as soon as possible. We are selling Cheesecakes from Michael’s Eighth again this year. The cheesecakes sell for $25 each. (We pay $15 ea. and make $10 off of each cheesecake we sell).

Orders will be due, along with $ on Sept.27. We are anticipating having them delivered on Oct. 5, after our game at home that evening. You can continue to sell after that time and we can submit a second order. Please let me know if you would like to extend your selling period. There are 6 varieties to choose from, and they can be frozen for up to 6 months.

 

 

Events at Michael’s Eighth Avenue

Michael’s has developed another opportunity for organizations such as ours to make money and have a great time. They have a schedule of fun adult events for which we can sell tickets. We will make $10.00 for each ticket sold.

I will be handing out flyers with more info. within the next week.

Each ticket for an event is $50  and provides an evening out with food, fun, and entertainment.

 

Examples of the events are as follows:

· Oktoberfest,           Sunday Oct. 17th, 1-6pm…..includes Live Music, Premium open bar, Hors d 'Oeuvres, Supreme German Buffet

· Halloween Party,   Friday Oct. 29…...includes entertainment (DJ), Prizes, Premium open bar, Hors d 'Oeuvres, Supreme Buffet

· Ballroom Boxing,   Thursday Nov.11, 8:00…...includes 6 live professional world class boxing matches.

· Comedy Shows      Fri., Nov.19, 7-11pm…...Featuring Brian Dunkleman, +2 other national comedy acts, Premium open bar, Hors d 'Oeuvres,                                                                                        Supreme Buffet

Carwash

We will be having at least 1 (hopefully 2) carwashes this year. All players are expected to participate. Additional info. and dates will be posted a.s.a.p.
